It is a condition of booking a cruise holiday with us that you have taken out appropriate travel insurance cover. We are pleased to offer a fully comprehensive travel insurance policy arranged by Gold Cover Insurance Services and insured by Ageas. This policy has been specially chosen to give you peace of mind about coping with unforeseen events that could occur either before or during your holiday.
Your attention is drawn to item 2 of the booking conditions covering the cancellation penalties and therefore it is advisable that insurance cover is taken out at the time of booking to cover any potential charges.
This insurance policy is available only to UK residents domiciled in the UK (incl. Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) and registered with a Medical Practitioner in the UK (incl. Channel Islands and The Isle of Man) and can only be applied to round trips commencing in and returning to the United Kingdom.
Due to FSA regulations which came into effect on 1 January 2009, our travel insurance may only be purchased from us directly. Please call us on 0845 430 0274 to arrange your policy, or ask your Travel Agent for details of alternative schemes that they may be able to offer you.

This travel insurance is insured by Ageas Insurance Limited. They are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA Reg. No. 202039)
Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
If you or any of the people travelling with you or others on whose health the trip depends have any pre-existing medical conditions, are on a waiting list for treatment or have a condition that is waiting diagnosis you will not be covered for the condition unless you check that the condition can be covered with the Insurer’s Healthline shown on the front cover of your policy wording. Failure to do this may result in a declined claim.
Commencement of Cover
For single trip policies your cover does not commence until your policy documentation has been issued and your payment has been processed.
Please read your policy wording carefully and take note of the pre-existing medical conditions, exclusions, excesses, limitations and conditions. If you find the policy does not meet your requirements you can return the policy to us within 14 days of receipt, but before the trip departure date. Provided no claim has been made your premium will be refunded in full.
Duty to Disclose All Material Facts
You need to let us know of any facts or information that may affect the insurance. If you do not declare these now or if you do not alert us to facts you become aware of during the period of insurance that may affect the insurance, your policy may be invalid.
Most sections of your policy are subject to an excess as shown in our Summary of Cover and in your policy wording. This means each person will have to bear the first part of each claim.
You may not be covered if you are planning to take part in dangerous sports or pastimes where there is a generally recognised risk of injury. A list of acceptable sports and activities is shown in the policy wording. Please ask us if you are in any doubt. It may be possible to cover other activities for an additional premium. Age restrictions may also apply.
