Relax and enjoy lazy days and carefree evenings as Astor heads for the Caribbean calling at beautiful Madeira en route. The beautiful beaches of Antigua and Barbados are something that you will have the chance to explore, plus St Lucia, a stunning volcanic island with green jungles, tropical vegetation and blue coves. A highlight will be Astor’s navigation of the iconic Panama Canal, the body of water that separates North America and South America, as well as the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The 100 year old manmade canal is an engineering wonder. And waiting for you at the other end is Acapulco, Mexico’s oldest and most well known beach resort, often seen in Hollywood movies and TV shows.

The trip from here to Auckland, New Zealand is no less impressive, with stops at three amazingly scenic French Polynesian islands of Nuku Hiva, Tahiti and Bora Bora. You will be introduced to a Pacific island lifestyle that will be difficult to leave behind, even after such a short period of time. Auckland is a geological wonder, sitting on top of a large volcanic field that has produced volcanic cones and rain forest covered mountain ranges. Its blend of harbour, islands, Polynesian culture and modern city environment has created a lifestyle ranked amongst the best in the world.

Astor then arrives on Australia’s east coast, where she will visit Sydney. Arriving into Sydney Harbour with its iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House is one of the great joys of cruising at the end of this quite remarkable adventure.
