CMV Extends Suspension of Cruises until 25th August 2020
Due to the continued escalation of the global pandemic outbreak of the Covid-19 coronavirus, Government advisories still in force and the lockdown of many countries and ports around the world, Cruise & Maritime Voyages has taken the decision to further extend the suspension of all our worldwide cruises from 1st July to 25th August 2020.
There were no reported cases of COVID-19 coronavirus on any of our small to medium-sized ships. The top and overriding priority has been the health and safety of our passengers and crew and they have been safely repatriated onboard our vessels now returned to their home ports in the UK & Germany.

Please don’t worry though if you need more time to decide. Remember, the future cruise credit voucher offer is valid until 31st March 2021.

“Due to the continued global pandemic, we are still unable to perform our scheduled itineraries and to deliver the travel experience normally enjoyed by our valued passengers. We have therefore taken the decision to temporarily further suspend all cruises until 25th August 2020, when we very much hope to be able to resume service. We are extremely proud to see that 70% of our passengers affected by the cancellation of their cruise have either re-booked and transferred onto a future 2021 cruises or require more time with the peace of mind of a refund credit note. Many passengers are also waiting until the release of our 2022 cruise program later this year. This is a great sign and we know that passengers are looking forward to travelling with us in the near future.”
Reassurance & Transfer Policy
We also appreciate that our customers may be concerned about their upcoming cruises with CMV departing beyond 25th August. For these passengers, we want to offer more flexibility and to reassure them that they will not be bound by our current booking conditions.
You can cancel your cruise up to 7 days prior to departure and receive a 125% future cruise credit voucher, provided you have paid in full. The voucher is valid for any cruise departing up until 31st December 2022 and can be redeemed at any time until 31st March 2021.
This flexible cancellation/transfer policy also applies to new bookings based on 100% future cruise credit voucher on monies paid.
If you do not want to pay your full balance, you may cancel at 90 days prior to departure and receive a future cruise credit voucher equal to the value of the deposit or whatever amount you have paid. The voucher is valid for any cruise departing up until 31st December 2022 and can be redeemed at any time until 31st March 2021.
For your added convenience and peace of mind, we are extending this popular Reassurance & Transfer Policy for sailings up to 30th September 2020. This supersedes our current booking terms and is valid until further notice. Details are outlined below, and we hope this will give you the confidence to change your holiday to a later date, either now or whenever you are ready to.

Cruise Voucher Terms and conditions
Cruise must be paid in full by the required date.
Once re-booked, 100% cancellation fee will apply to the new booking.
New cruise must be the equivalent value of the original booking or higher.
If new booking is of a higher value (after the credit is applied), the supplementary cost to apply.
One name change permitted – up to 14 nights prior to sail date.
