Carrying around 475 passengers, Funchal is a classic cruise liner with a beautiful profile and charming interiors and has a proud and fascinating maritime heritage having served as a Portuguese Presidential yacht for state visits. During 2013, Funchal was extensively refurbished and upgraded with an investment of approximately 10 million Euros.

Funchal has six passenger decks serviced by three lifts (except Navigators Deck) and offers a wide range of comfortable cabins, the majority of which have a port hole or picture window with sea view. Funchal has five bars and four stylish lounges playing host to a programme of daytime and evening entertainment. One sitting dining is provided in one of the ship’s two restaurants, the Coimbra or Lisboa Restaurants. Other facilities include a casino, shop, library, card room, hair salon and an outdoor un-heated swimming pool.
